Fintech Platform & Lead Full-Stack Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Engineer to drive the engineering of our proprietary fintech platforms and custom client web applications. You will work with modern stacks (React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL) to craft high-concurrency software that powers real-time transactions across West Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput web portals, mobile APIs, and payment gateway integrations (Mobile Money, Visa, Mastercard).
• Develop clean, responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Framer Motion.
• Optimize relational database schemas (PostgreSQL, Prisma), write complex SQL queries, and implement Redis caching.
• Ensure strict compliance with PCI-DSS security standards, OAuth2 authentication, and data encryption protocols.
• Lead code reviews, write automated unit/integration tests, and mentor junior software developers.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of RESTful and GraphQL API design, microservice patterns, and webhooks.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORMs (Prisma, TypeORM).
• Prior background in financial software, payment gateway integration, or high-traffic platforms is a strong plus.
